Reasons to Choose Lace Wedding Dress

Lace never out of the wedding dress fashion and it seems that lace is gaining more and more popularity, because vintage inspired weddings are hot. So a lace wedding dress must on many bride’s wish list. There are still certain other reasons for the hot of lace wedding dresses, check them.

1. Lace is bridal
Lace is beautiful, delicate, feminine, elegant, whimsical and classical. A vintage lace wedding dress can be girly yet graceful, and fun yet formal, so it works for just about any type of wedding.

2. Lace is flattering
While sheer fabrics can emphasize lumps and bumps, lace skims neatly over them and the pattern draws the eye away. Lace smooth and slims chunkier brides, but can also add bulk to skinny brides if a larger pattern is used.

3. Lace is versatile
Lace can be used to add minor details. A lace overlay on top of a silk gown is a popular choice, as are delicate lace sleeves with a predominantly silk dress, or a lace bodice with a silk skirt. Lace details can be used at the waist, on the train, around the hem of the dress, or on the veil. Lace can also be used to make a shrug or jacket.

4. Lace looks expensive
This fabric adds a touch of class and luxury to your bridal gown which will make it look expensive, even if it isn’t. Adding lace detail to a simple high street gown is a wonderful way to customize it and make it one of a kind.

5. Lace is timeless
There are a wide variety of lace patterns and styles available, and a lace wedding dress can have a vintage or a modern appearance. Brides have been wearing lace for many years and it doesn’t look set to go out of fashion just yet. Re-embroidered floral designs such as alencon or chantilly lace are currently very popular.

Wedding Photography I Like

Humans are complex, strange and selfish creatures. When two of us make a life together it elevates our conception of ourselves. It makes us believe that if we can be this good for each other, maybe we can be that good for the rest of the world. We create lavish celebrations to commemorate these extraordinary connections. And we consecrate those celebrations with photographs. Today’s ten best wedding photographers are ready to show you your best self—if you’re ready to see it.
Here we listed some of our favorite wedding photography, in no particular order:

Bridal Bouquet by Body Shape

The choices of bridal bouquet have certain principles, just like when you choose your wedding dress and veil (like color and shape, etc…). The bouquet should follow your body line and be in proportion to your body shape and scale.

Neat Hourglass
You can carry off any style and shape of flower bouquet, but keep in mind that it has to be in your scale and complement the line and shape of your chosen wedding dress.

Full Hour glass
Your shape is as well-proportioned as the neat hour glass, the only difference is your scale is bigger.
Avoid: Petite Flower bouquets

Triangle Or Pear
You are fuller around your hips than shoulders.
Avoid: Triangle flower bouquets

Inverted Triangle
Your shoulders are more dominant than your hips.
Avoid: Petite flower or long and straight shapes

Lean Column
Your body shape and scale are petite and straight - almost a boyish figure.
Avoid: Chunky shapes or long and straight lines

Rectangle
You don’t have much of a waist, but you have a straight line between hips and bust.
Avoid: Petite or long and straight lines

Round/ or apple
Your fullest point is around your tummy and waist.
Avoid: Petite or round shapes. Avoid wearing them at your fullest point

Bridal Shower Themes

Candy-Themed Shower
Plan a shower that is sweet like candy -- just like Darcy Miller did for bride-to-be Dylan Lauren, owner of Dylan's Candy Bar in New York City. "This theme is so much fun and perfect for Dylan," Darcy says. "But, really, who doesn't like candy?"

Pink Shower
Choose the bride's favorite color (in this case, pink) and build your shower theme around it.

Alphabet Shower
Create a bridal shower inspired by the letters of the bride-to-be's name.

Destination Shower
The shower itself can be the gift: In this case, the bride and her bridesmaids can spend a weekend together in a beach house, a downtown hotel, or a cabin by a lake.

Sports Shower
For a fitness-oriented couple, guests can bring climbing gear, ski equipment, tennis racquets, golf clubs, or whatever suits the couple's interests. Include guests in the action by making the shower itself be eight holes of golf, a day at a local ski area, or a rousing game of beach volleyball.

All-White Shower
Perfect for a space that is modern, airy, and white like Jennifer Miller Symonds apartment where she threw this all-white shower for her sister, our own, Darcy Miller. The decorations, food, and favors were all inspired by the color palette -- the windows were framed for the occasion with fragile white sweet peas lined up on the sills.

Here are 5 wedding-inspired nail ideas for the not-so-traditional bride.

Lace Details. Can’t get enough of your lacey gown, or did you skip the pattern on your dress but still want a way to incorporate it into your look? Try it on your nails! You can either stencil it on or add actual lace to your tips.

Something Blue. Every bride needs that “something blue” and going for a chic blue manicure is an easy way to check that task off your list.

Sparkle & Shine. What goes better with your ring than sparkly glitter-featured nails? The glitter ombre mani is a gorgeous option for the girl who loves to be the center of attention.

Champagne. The bubbly will be flowing on your special day, so get in festive spirits with a champagne-colored manicure.

Caviar. Good food is one of the most important elements of a wedding. Caviar (manicure), anyone? Add a bold pearl accent to your bridal look with the white caviar nail.
